Aperol Spritz

Equipment

  • Large wine glasses or balloon glasses
  • Long bar spoon (optional)
  • Jigger or small measuring cup
  • Citrus knife or paring knife

Ingredients
  

  • 6 oz Prosecco well chilled
  • 4 oz Aperol
  • 2 oz soda water club soda or sparkling water, chilled
  • Orange slices for garnish
  • Ice cubes enough to fill each glass

Instructions
 

Step 1: Fill the Glass With Ice

  • Fill your wine glass all the way to the top with ice cubes.

Step 2: Add the Prosecco

  • Pour in 6 oz of chilled Prosecco as the base of the cocktail.

Step 3: Pour in the Aperol

  • Slowly add 4 oz of Aperol into the glass.

Step 4: Top With Soda Water

  • Finish with 2 oz of chilled soda water to bring lightness and fizz.

Step 5: Garnish and Serve

  • Garnish with a fresh orange slice and serve immediately.

Notes

For a more floral variation, add a splash of elderflower liqueur.
Use large ice cubes and chilled ingredients for optimal crispness.
To serve a group, multiply ingredients and mix in a large pitcher just before serving.
