  • Tongs
  • Basting brush (optional)

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe pineapple peeled, cored, and sliced into ½-inch rings
  • 1 tbsp melted butter optional, for extra richness
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup optional, for caramelization
  • 1 tsp cinnamon optional, for warmth

Instructions

Prepare the Pineapple

  • Slice the pineapple into ½-inch rings. If using, brush both sides with melted butter and a drizzle of honey for extra caramelization.

Preheat the Grill

  • Heat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.

Grill the Pineapple

  • Place the rings on the grill and cook for about 3–4 minutes per side, until deep golden grill marks appear.

Serve Immediately

  • Remove from the grill and let cool slightly. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, or enjoy as a side dish with grilled meats.

Notes

For a boozy twist, soak the rings in coconut rum for 10 minutes before grilling.
Add a kick by sprinkling a pinch of cayenne before serving.
Pairs well with caramel sauce, toasted coconut, or lime zest for extra flavor.
