Ingredients
  

  • For the Brownie Batter
  • ½ cup 115 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup 200 g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • cup 40 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup 65 g all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup 90 g chocolate chips or chunks

Instructions
 

Step 1: Prepare Your Pan

  • Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

Step 2: Melt the Butter

  • In a medium bowl, melt the butter until just liquid and let cool slightly.

Step 3: Whisk in Sugar and Eggs

  • Add sugar to the butter and whisk until glossy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.

Step 4: Mix in Dry Ingredients

  • Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold gently until combined—do not overmix.

Step 5: Add Chocolate Chips

  • Fold in chocolate chips, reserving a few to sprinkle on top.

Step 6: Bake

  • Pour into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and bake at 325°F (165°C) for 25–30 minutes.

Step 7: Cool and Slice

  • Let brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.

Notes

Use quality cocoa and chocolate chips for richer flavor.
Slightly underbake for extra fudgy centers.
