For the Grilled Peaches
- 4 ripe peaches halved and pitted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter for brushing
Optional Toppings
- 2 tablespoons honey for drizzling
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans toasted if desired
Step 1: Preheat the Grill
Step 2: Prep the Peaches
Halve and pit the peaches, then lightly brush the cut sides with olive oil or melted butter.
Tip:
Firm-ripe peaches hold up best on the grill.
Step 3: Grill the Peaches
Place peaches cut side down on the grill. Cook for 3–4 minutes, then flip and grill the skin side for 2–3 more minutes.
Tip:
Don't press down—let the grill marks form naturally.
Step 4: Serve With Toppings
Remove from the grill. Serve warm with honey, vanilla ice cream, and chopped nuts.
Tip:
Serve immediately for the best contrast of hot and cold.
For a healthier option, skip the ice cream and add yogurt or granola.
Grill ahead and serve chilled for a refreshing take.
Add mint or fresh herbs for an elevated presentation.
